Road infrastructure Digital Twins integrated with data from multiple sensing technologies enable the dynamic quantification of multidimensional safety criteria for automated road maintenance diagnosis and prognosis services.
This online workshop will provide an overview of the approaches, tools and data sources used, along with a summary of the different types of interventions under research, the specific variants implemented and tested, and the associated analysis performed within the EC-funded projects iDriving, EvoRoads and CAMBER. iDriving will present the Digital Twin implementation for safety and maintenance environments, from detection to user notification, through test campaigns simulating various use cases. CAMBER will outline how these interventions are being tested and evaluated within their Simulation campaigns, giving participants potential insight into the methodology for intervention verification and implementation in the pilot sites. EvoRoads will present their solution, its interaction with the other project components and its application in the Pilot in Turin, showing the scenarios validated on site with data from roadside sensors.
